Children & Hypnosis
Through stories and imagination, children can learn
to feel
empowered
and calm.
Hypnotherapy with children is playful, creative, and completely age-appropriate, often involving storytelling, guided imagery, and metaphors that speak directly to a child’s inner world. Whether helping with bedwetting, test anxiety, separation worries, dealing with illness or building confidence, hypnosis offers a safe space for emotional regulation and positive self-image to grow. Because children naturally move between imagination and reality, they respond beautifully to this kind of support.

From a clinical standpoint, pediatric hypnosis is widely used for both emotional and physical concerns. It can ease stomachaches, improve sleep, support behavior change, and enhance focus. Rather than “fixing” a problem, hypnotherapy helps children tap into their own natural resources—offering tools they can use again and again as they grow. Sessions are gentle, collaborative (with parents and the child), and adapted to meet each child’s needs and developmental stage, always with curiosity, kindness, and care.
Please note: Are you seeking hypnotherapy for a child to support their medical, dental or mental health condition? If so, because the work engages with medically significant conditions, it ethically requires me to get a referral from a licensed provider such as a doctor, mental health counselor, or dentist, before I can begin sessions with your child. This requirement exists to ensure that clinical hypnosis is applied safely and in coordination with your child's overall treatment plan. Please contact me to discuss this before you book a session. While hypnotherapy can be profoundly supportive, it is not a substitute for medical care or a mental health diagnosis. Instead, it’s a powerful complement that helps to reduce stress, manage symptoms, and stimulate the body's own innate healing ability from within.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
