My Hypnotherapy Services

But first, some background:

What is Hypnosis?
Hint: You are already an expert at it

HYPNOSIS has been used therapeutically for thousands of years. It's a state of focused attention and heightened awareness that is directed within, and is a normal and natural part of being human. It's common for us to enter into a state of hypnosis when we watch a movie for example, meditate, or drive a car without remembering that we passed certain landmarks, or daydream as we wait in line. Someone can call our name and we don't hear them. The rest of the world disappears from our awareness. Our eyes are open and we are in a state of hypnosis, a state of trance, a state of intense focused concentration.

Hypnosis in various forms is something which we all experience throughout the day, depending on what we are doing. You've done this thousands of times and this is why hypnotherapists say that anyone who wants to be hypnotized can be. An outside force isn't causing you to do this. It’s just you, using your mind in a different way, allowing yourself to get into a different state of awareness. It's easy to see why all hypnosis is considered self-hypnosis.

When we close our eyes and bring our awareness inward with deep relaxation, profound inner resources become available. This is a doorway to the space where your mind and heart meet. In a calm, guided state of hypnosis, we can access the subconscious realm, where beliefs, emotions, memories, and deep-seated intuitive resources reside.

What is Hypnotherapy?

HYPNOTHERAPY, a powerful tool for mind-body transformation, combines intentional protocols with hypnosis (guided relaxation and focused attention) to access the subconscious mind, where long-held patterns, beliefs, and emotional imprints are stored. We relax the conscious mind to facilitate communication with the subconscious mind, so the two can work together in harmony for your greatest good, increasing your ability to shift thoughts in new and empowering ways, moving you into positive and powerful action.

In this space of inward reflection, beneath surface thoughts and daily distractions, in the deeper layers of the mind, we find the undercurrents that quietly shape the way you behave, perceive yourself and feel.

Hypnotherapy gently brings these patterns into the light, allowing you to shift and release what no longer serves you —core patterns, stored emotional energy—in order to rewire the mind for healing,  self-empowerment and peace.

You access your inner resources and become more you—with more clarity, self compassion, and a deeper self awareness.

It’s a fast and effective process that facilitates long-lasting change and is both deeply practical and profoundly soulful, as you connect with your innate intuitive guidance system to discover that the answers you are seeking are already within you. If you are open to this approach and are looking for change, I'm honored to guide you in this remarkable process.

Reconnect with your
authentic Self

MANY PEOPLE also find that hypnotherapy helps them reconnect with a deeper sense of self—like tuning in to an inner compass or a quiet knowing that’s always been there. Some even describe it as a doorway to something greater, something more connected. Whether you think of that as your subconscious mind, your Higher Self, your superconscious mind or simply a deeper part of your own experience—it’s all valued here.

Hypnotherapy takes you on a sacred inner journey that bridges the gap between your everyday waking state of mind and the deeper currents of your subconscious mind, where outdated programs are often running the show behind the scenes. Within that space, your own insight, healing, and guidance can naturally emerge. It's important to understand that these insights don't come from me, they come from you; I am simply a guide, helping you to connect to this deeper knowingness within you.

HYPNOTHERAPY works on a subconscious level, so struggling with willpower isn't needed. This kind of transformation feels very natural and comfortable.

What does hypnotherapy feel like? It's very relaxing, yet at the same time you are fully aware of what is going on around you. Since it's similar to when you are daydreaming or are in meditation,  it's easy to understand that you will be fully in control of what you say and do and can reject any suggestion that I make, or even open your eyes. Hypnotherapy is powerful because of you--your consent, your presence and your willingness. It's a pleasant, safe and relaxing experience and all of my hypnotherapy sessions take place online, so you will be surrounded by the comforts of  home the whole time that we are together doing our work.

I’m here to support the unfolding of your inner freedom through the vast, creative intelligence of your mind. There is a wellspring of insight within you—wise, loving, and already moving toward healing and growth. It knows the steps, even if you don’t yet.

Clinical Hypnotherapy: Where science, soul and compassion meet for deep healing.

CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY, also called therapeutic or medical hypnotherapy, is a specialized form of care used to support wellness in the presence of diagnosed illness, injury, or mental health challenges. Unlike general-purpose hypnosis, it is always intended to complement licensed medical, dental, or psychological care.

How can it help?  Clinical hypnotherapy can be a powerful support in a variety of medical and emotional contexts. It is often used to help relieve pain and physical symptoms, including chronic discomfort, nausea, and side effects related to treatment. In preparation for surgery, it can promote deep relaxation, reduce bleeding, and support faster recovery. For those dealing with trauma-related symptoms, hypnosis may ease the intensity of flashbacks, reduce emotional disregulation, and improve sleep. It also plays a valuable role in supporting emotional well-being during illness by lowering anxiety and enhancing inner resilience. Importantly, all of this work is done in collaboration with your licensed healthcare team to ensure your care is safe, ethical, and fully integrated.

Clinical hypnotherapy: a gentle bridge between mind and medicine.

Clinical hypnotherapy is a science-based, mind-body collaboration, leveraging well-researched techniques that guide you into a deeply focused, yet relaxed state. In that state you can tap inner resources—neuro-hormonal pathways, imagery, and autonomic regulation—that typical treatment may overlook. Because these sessions involve medically significant conditions, a written referral from a licensed provider (physician, psychologist/therapist, dentist, etc.) is ethically required.

Why does the referral matter? A referral protects your safety by confirming hypnosis is appropriate for your condition and it ensures coordination so suggestions align with your overall treatment plan. It also clarifies roles—hypnotherapy is a complement, not a substitute, for medical care.

Clinical hypnotherapy does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace medical treatment. Instead, it helps you lower stress hormones, regulate pain perception, strengthen immune and healing responses, and it fosters a sense of control and hope.  When used as part of a holistic approach, clinical hypnotherapy empowers the client—not by doing something to the body, but by activating what the body already knows how to do: heal, integrate, and restore balance.

In contrast, non-therapeutic hypnotherapy typically supports goals like habit change, enhancing performance or self esteem, increasing motivation, seeking inner peace or clarity.  These forms of hypnosis are super helpful and transformative, but they do not require healthcare referrals because no diagnosed condition is being treated.

As a certified clinical hypnotherapist, I provide therapeutic sessions only with proper referrals, honoring both your wellbeing and professional ethical standards, so if you are under medical, dental or psychological care for the issue that you’d like help with, please obtain a signed referral from your provider before you book hypnosis work for that condition.

Do you have questions about the process or paperwork? Reach out any time—I'm happy to guide you.

Migraines

Migraines are more than just headaches—they’re complex neurological events that can disrupt every aspect of daily life. Hypnotherapy offers gentle, evidence-informed support by helping reduce migraine frequency, intensity, and emotional triggers. It can also improve sleep, reduce anxiety, and help people feel more in control of their bodies—especially when pain has felt overwhelming or unpredictable.

Skin Conditions

The skin is not just a barrier—it’s also a messenger, often reflecting what's happening beneath the surface in both body and mind. Hypnotherapy offers a gentle, mind-body approach to supporting chronic skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne, and hives by reducing stress and helping regulate immune and inflammatory responses. Through guided relaxation and subconscious work, hypnotherapy calms the nervous system, decreases flare-ups triggered by stress, and helps clients feel more at ease in their bodies. It’s not a replacement for medical care, but a powerful complement—especially when skin conditions have an emotional  component.

Asthma/Breathing Conditions

Breathing issues like asthma can be both physically and emotionally distressing, often triggered or worsened by stress, anxiety, or environmental cues. Hypnotherapy supports easier breathing by helping to reduce nervous system overactivation and by gently rewiring the body’s stress response. Through guided relaxation and subconscious retraining, hypno-therapy helps clients feel more in control of their breath, reduce anxiety-related symptoms, and improve overall respiratory comfort. It works alongside medical treatment—not as a replacement—to support a more peaceful, confident relationship with breathing.

Dental Conditions

Dental procedures can trigger anxiety, discomfort, or even panic in many people—often stemming from past trauma, sensitive reflexes, or fears about pain and control. Hypnotherapy provides a safe and highly effective way to reduce dental fear, manage physical responses, and promote a calmer, more comfortable experience in the dental chair. By working with the subconscious mind, hypno-therapy helps regulate the body’s reactions, ease the gag reflex, and reduce tension in the jaw and muscles. It’s also valuable in addressing bruxism (teeth grinding), TMJ disorders, and needle or procedure phobias—giving clients the tools to feel more at ease during treatment and in daily life.

Cardiovascular Concerns

Heart health is closely connected to how we manage stress and emotions. Hypnotherapy offers a gentle, research-informed way to support cardiovascular well-being by reducing anxiety and promoting healthier lifestyle habits from the inside out. In a deeply relaxed state of hypnosis, the body naturally shifts into parasympathetic mode—slowing the heart rate, calming the nervous system, and improving oxygen flow. Whether someone is coping with high blood pressure, recovering from a cardiac event, or navigating the emotional toll of heart disease, hypnotherapy offers compas-sionate, whole-person support for both prevention and healing.

IBS and Gastro-intestinal Issues

Your gut listens— constantly—to the story your mind is telling. Hypnotherapy calms the nervous system and brings harmony to the sensitive communication between body and brain. By easing stress and shifting subconscious patterns, it can help reduce discomfort, improve digestion, and restore a sense of internal peace. This gentle, mind-body approach invites healing where it often begins—in the quiet space beneath awareness.

Surgical Support

Surgery can be one of the most stressful experiences for the body and mind—even when it's necessary for healing. Hypnotherapy offers gentle, evidence-based support before and after surgery, helping to reduce anxiety, pain, and recovery time by activating the body's natural healing response. It can help with preoperative relaxation, improved sleep, and reduced fear—while post-operative sessions support healing, pain relief, and emotional recovery. Hypno-therapy isn’t just about managing symptoms—it’s about creating conditions in which healing can truly flourish.

Pain Management

Pain speaks in the language of the body, but its roots reach into the mind. Hypnotherapy helps to soften and sometimes even eliminate the experience of pain and restores a sense of comfort, safety, and control. By working with the subconscious, it can reduce the brain’s perception of pain, ease the emotional burden that often accompanies chronic discomfort, and create new pathways for relief. In this space of inner calm, the body can begin to rest, recover, and remember what it feels like to be at ease.

Flower Shop
Anxiety and Depression

When anxiety or depression take hold, it can feel like an endless loop, with each thought or feeling feeding the next. Hypnotherapy provides a pathway out of that cycle by guiding the mind to a place of stillness and clarity, helping to break the cycle, restoring a deep sense of calm and balance . With hypnotherapy, you can access the serenity and clarity within, breaking free from that endless loop, restoring balance, and reconnecting with peace and joy.

Tinnitus

Tinnitus—often described as ringing, buzzing, or hissing in the ears—can be deeply distressing, especially when it interferes with sleep, concentration, and peace of mind.  By shifting focus away from the internal noise and promoting deep relaxation, clinical hypnotherapy helps clients feel less reactive, more in control, and better equipped to manage the impact of tinnitus in daily life. It’s a gentle, non-invasive support that works in harmony with medical care.

Living with an autoimmune disease can feel like being in a constant state of tension—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Hypnotherapy offers a gentle, empowering way to calm the immune system, regulate stress, and reconnect with the body’s deeper rhythms of healing and restoration. By entering a deeply relaxed, receptive state, the nervous system shifts out of “fight or flight” and into “rest and repair.” Hypnotherapy can significantly reduce symptom flares, support emotional balance, and improve overall quality of life by working with the underlying stress that often triggers immune overactivity.

By guiding the nervous system into a calm and receptive state, hypno-therapy helps shift out of hypervigilance, reduce intrusive symptoms, and reconnect with a sense of internal safety. This work is done slowly, respectfully, and with clinical care—always honoring each person’s pace and lived experience.

Menopause

Menopause is a natural transition, but for many, the symptoms can be intense—hot flashes, disrupted sleep, anxiety, brain fog, and mood shifts that impact daily life. Hypnotherapy offers gentle, research-supported help in managing these symptoms by calming the nervous system and restoring a sense of internal balance. By guiding the body into deep relaxation and working with the subconscious mind, hypnotherapy can help reduce the frequency and intensity of hot flashes, support better sleep, ease emotional fluctuations, and promote overall well-being. It's a safe, empowering complement to medical care during this important life phase.

Addiction Recovery

Addiction recovery is a courageous and complex journey, often involving physical cravings, emotional wounds, and deep-rooted patterns that are hard to shift through willpower alone. Hypnotherapy offers powerful, trauma-sensitive support by working directly with the subconscious mind to reduce triggers, build motivation, and promote lasting change. Used alongside professional addiction treatment, hypnotherapy can help clients ease anxiety, strengthen self-worth, release guilt or shame, and reprogram unconscious habits that drive addictive behaviors. It is not a replacement for medical care, but a meaningful adjunct that supports deeper healing from within.

Arthritis

Arthritis is more than joint pain—it’s a daily challenge that can affect sleep, mobility, and emotional well-being. Hypnotherapy can help reduce pain perception, relax muscle tension, and support the body’s natural healing processes through the mind-body connection. Clinical hypnotherapy complements medical care by guiding the nervous system into deep relaxation, reducing stress-related inflammation, and helping clients reframe their relationship to chronic pain. The result is often more ease, less discomfort, and a renewed sense of control over one’s experience.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis can cause chronic pain, fatigue, emotional distress, as well as a sense of isolation that’s hard to put into words. Hypnotherapy can help manage the physical and emotional toll of the condition by reducing pain sensitivity, regulating stress, and restoring a sense of agency in the body. Used in conjunction with medical care, hypnotherapy has been shown to improve pain perception, reduce inflammation-related stress responses, and ease the mental burden of living with a chronic condition. It's a gentle, empowering support that helps clients feel calmer, stronger, and more at home within themselves.

Chronic Illness

Living with a chronic illness can be an overwhelming journey, often affecting not just the body but also the mind and spirit. Hypnotherapy offers a compassionate and empowering way to reconnect with your body’s own healing intelligence by supporting you in coping with the stress, pain, and uncertainty that long-term conditions can bring. And often, within the stillness of hypnosis, clients may also discover inner guidance, ancestral wisdom, or soul-level insight waiting to be heard. Healing  can also mean awakening, remembering, and returning to wholeness from the inside out.

Compulsive Disorders

Compulsive habits can feel like they’re running the show—repetitive behaviors that bring short-term relief but long-term distress. Whether it’s hair pulling, skin picking, nail biting, or other repetitive patterns, hypnotherapy offers a compassionate, brain-based approach to interrupting the cycle and restoring calm. Clinical hypnotherapy works by calming the nervous system, uncovering subconscious triggers, and gently rewiring the automatic patterns that drive compulsive behavior. It provides a safe, supportive space for healing, while empowering clients with new tools to regain control.

Trying to conceive can be one of the most emotionally charged and physically demanding experiences a person or couple goes through. Hypnotherapy offers compassionate, evidence-informed support that helps reduce stress, regulate the nervous system, and create optimal conditions for conception and fertility treatment. Spiritual Hypnotherapy: Connect with the Inner Sanctuary of your Soul

12526324d991ca02729544d2a1defd91_edited.jpg
My soul, there is a country
far beyond the stars.
-Henry Vaughan

SPIRITUAL HYPNOTHERAPY, also called Transpersonal Hypnotherapy, addresses the whole person—mind, body, emotions, and spirit. It offers a pathway beyond everyday concerns, guiding you into the deeper layers of your mind and soul. In a relaxed and open state, you can access wisdom, healing, self-discovery and insight that is often hidden beneath the surface of daily life. Whether you're seeking emotional healing, balance or clarity, or a deeper connection to your true self, I create a safe, compassionate and supportive space for these profound inner explorations to take place, and offer several beautiful modalities to choose from.

Spiritual hypnotherapy is not about prescribing answers. It's about empowerment and self-awareness— creating a sacred space where people can encounter their own inner wisdom, often for the first time in a very long time.

celebrating the healing power of spiritual hypnotherapy
The Healing Journey of Spiritual Hypnotherapy: A Hypnotherapist’s Perspective

Working in these realms with clients over the past three years, I have had the profound privilege of witnessing transformation that defies easy explanation. The healing that emerges in these sessions touches something beyond the analytical mind—it touches the heart. This holistic approach guides individuals to explore the depths of their subconscious and connect with the eternal essence of their soul. By blending hypnosis with spiritual exploration, we unlock hidden memories, heal deep-seated wounds, and foster a greater understanding of our purpose in this life and beyond.

What continues to move me is how personal and sacred each journey is. One client may encounter the origins of unexplained digestive problems in a forgotten lifetime. Another may receive symbolic visions that completely reframe their understanding of a current life challenge. Yet another may dissolve into tears of relief upon hearing their higher self say the words they have longed to hear: you are not alone. You are on the right path. You are already enough. My role as a hypnotherapist in these sessions is to guide, not direct, trusting the client’s subconscious to reveal what is ready to be healed.

Spiritual hypnotherapy is not about escape—it’s about deep return. A return to wholeness, to knowing, to a trust in life that transcends circumstance. And in this return, people change; they soften, they grow, they forgive. They remember.

At its heart, spiritual hypnotherapy honors both the psychological and the sacred. It invites you into direct relationship with your deeper nature, helping you rediscover peace, purpose, and the quiet, unconditionally loving, expansive knowing that lies within you. No specific beliefs are required on your part — only a willingness to explore the rich, transformative inner worlds that can lead to lasting change. If you're feeling the quiet pull toward something deeper—toward answers that reside not in someone else's teaching but within your own eternal knowing—this path may be calling you, too.

Deep hypnosis activates theta brainwave states—those same liminal frequencies found in deep meditation and in the early stages of sleep and waking up. In this spacious neurological terrain, the subconscious becomes more accessible. This is the realm of stored memories, deep beliefs, and, I would argue, the soul's landscape. Though traditional science may not yet fully map the terrain of past lives or soul communication, we do know that the subconscious can craft astonishing symbolic stories as it heals, processes, and integrates. Whether one sees these sessions as metaphor, memory, or metaphysical truth, the outcome is the same: deep healing, release, and clarity.

lakshmi-embellished-by-ravi-varma-press-edit-b11cd9 copy.jpg

For those new to these ideas, it can be revelatory to experience a self that transcends the current narrative, to feel a sense of loving presence that has always been guiding from within. And for the skeptical but open-minded, even a single session can awaken a sense of awe.

Clients come seeking relief from anxiety, confusion, physical discomfort, or life patterns that no longer serve them. What they often discover is a vast, luminous intelligence within themselves. Some recall vivid lifetimes in different bodies, cultures, or centuries. Others connect with higher aspects of themselves, guides and ascended masters, or deeply symbolic realms that speak in the language of archetype and emotion and offer healing and information. And always, there is meaning. These sessions are often affirmations of what many people have always felt—that we are more than this one lifetime, more than this moment of struggle.

No specific beliefs are required on your part — only a willingness to explore the rich,  transformative inner worlds that can lead to lasting change. These journeys, when viewed through the conceptual lens of being a creative model for storytelling,  offer a broadened space for personal reflection, self-discovery and consciousness exploration through symbolism, archetypes and metaphor.

At its heart, spiritual hypnotherapy honors both the psychological and the sacred. It invites you into direct relationship with your deeper nature, helping you rediscover peace, purpose, and the quiet, unconditionally loving, expansive knowing that lies within you.

...intimacy, love, belonging, creativity is...when we stand back and let the mystery be [and] become enveloped in it so that it extends us and deepens us.

-John O'Donohue

The Spiritual Sessions that I offer

I once heard a delightful story about the ancients who came to earth, bringing with them the secrets of eternity. The ancients worried about how to hide these great secrets until mankind was spiritually ready to appreciate and appropriately use them.

One lamented, "If we hide them on land people will conquer the land and discover them." Another commented, "If we hide them in the sea, mankind will reach the very bottom of the sea."

A third observed, "If we hide them in space, men and women will one day soar into space."

They pondered. Then the wisest said, "Let us hide these secrets in the last place they will think to search. Let us hide the secrets in their own minds."

And this proved to be the perfect hiding place.

Past Life Regression: Soul's Expansion

Past Life Regression can be a doorway into the soul’s larger journey. Through deep hypnosis and guided inner exploration, clients may access memories, imagery, or emotional patterns linked to lives beyond the current one. Whether literal or symbolic, these stories offer profound insights into present-day relationships, fears, longings, and patterns.

Clients often report a deep sense of healing, resolution, or spiritual remembrance—feeling as though something ancient and essential has been seen, understood, and released. This work honors the soul as vast, eternal, and always in motion toward growth.

I could well imagine that I might have lived in former centuries and there encountered questions I was not yet able to answer;

that I had to

Intuitive Regression: Connect to Soul

An Intuitive Regression is a powerful experience that allows you to reconnect with the deeper parts of yourself — the aspects of your soul that hold wisdom, purpose, unconditional love and clarity, beyond the noise of everyday life. Guided into a deeply relaxed state, you can journey into places of deep knowing--where images, sensations, or memories surface to reveal profound insights. Whether it’s unlocking hidden aspects of your life, providing answers to current challenges, exploring your soul’s path, or simply feeling a sense of peace and belonging, these moments are invitations to experience your connection to something vast and loving.

Like all regressions, the beauty of an Intuitive Regression is unique for each person--some feel a spontaneous knowing, others experience vivid imagery or symbolic stories, but all find themselves touched by a sense of purpose and calm. It’s not about “finding answers” in the traditional sense, but about remembering the eternal truths of who you are. In this space, you can begin to release old patterns, heal unresolved wounds, and come back into alignment with your truest self — the part of you that is always whole, always connected, and always part of the greater flow of life.

Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead

you astray. In the silence, there is a sacred mystery, a path

that shows the

way not with

words but with

the heart's

yearning.

Breathwork & Hypnotherapy

Breathwork opens the body and mind in a unique way—creating space where tension softens, awareness deepens, and emotions begin to naturally surface. In this receptive space, we begin to access layers of ourselves that are often just beneath daily awareness. Thoughts may slow, memories may stir, and intuition becomes more available. It’s a powerful process on its own—and when paired with the tools of hypnotherapy, it becomes a deeply supported path toward healing and clarity.

Once the breath has gently shifted your inner landscape, hypnotherapy helps you work with whatever arises. Whether it’s an image, emotion, or old pattern, we can meet it together with intention, using proven methods like inner dialogue or regression to bring understanding and relief. The breath helps the body speak; hypnotherapy helps you listen and respond with compassion. Together, they invite lasting transformation—rooted not just in insight, but in embodied experience.

The water vapour in the air of your out-breath expands and broadcasts your intention.

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is a unique form of hypnosis that invites you into the deepest levels of hypnosis, where expansive insight, soul memories, and healing potential reside. Developed by renowned past life regressionist and prolific author Dolores Cannon over the course of decades after facilitating thousands of regressions, QHHT opens access to what she called the “Subconscious”—not just the personal subconscious mind, but the most expansive part of your consciousness, that holds timeless wisdom and a profound knowing of your soul’s journey.

In a QHHT session, clients often experience past life memories, symbolic imagery, moments of profound knowing and direct guidance that can offer emotional insight and relief. Physical and emotional healing can occur as this deeper intelligence brings resolution and understanding.

QHHT is both an inner exploration and a sacred remembering—one that reconnects you with your essence, your purpose, and the vast intelligence of the Universe moving through you. This experience is especially powerful for those who are ready to stop outsourcing their power and begin trusting their own inner wisdom.

These beautiful sessions are done in person only and tend to last about 7 hours. Although lengthy, the time does go by very quickly. Please contact me about availability.
